Graffiti abatement meeting
Please join neighborhood council representatives and residents from all over Spokane for a graffiti abatement meeting on Dec. 27 at 6 p.m. at The Hive, 2904 E. Sprague Ave.
The meeting is organized by Tyler Tamoush, Community Assembly Safety Committee Chair with support of the Office of Neighborhood Services (ONS).
Graffiti is a problem across the city, costing property owners lots of money and patience, as removing and painting over tags and scrawls is a never ending process.
At this meeting, representatives from ONS will share new ideas for murals and other programs that may help slow down tagging, guerrilla art and vandalism.
Come ready to participate in a community discussion about successful tools that have been used to tackle graffiti in other cities.
Be ready to provide input and share your own experience on how we can get a handle on the graffiti issue.
Everyone is welcome.
